Some injuries need protection and support while they heal, and our clinic can help with cast application, boots and braces as part of your care. Getting the right support in place at the right time gives an injured area the stability it needs and can make everyday movement more comfortable and safer.

Our physiotherapists assess your injury and, working with the surgeons and physicians in our group when needed, help fit and manage the appropriate support. Whether it is a cast for a fracture, a supportive boot for a foot or ankle problem, or a brace to protect a joint, we make sure it fits well and that you understand how to use it, care for it and what to watch for as you heal.

Support devices are only one part of recovery. As healing progresses we guide you through the transition back to normal movement with a rehabilitation program that restores strength, range and confidence. Being part of the Orthosports group means we can coordinate follow up, imaging and specialist review quickly if your injury needs it.

What to expect

We assess your injury and fit the appropriate cast, boot or brace, explaining how to wear and care for it. You will get clear advice on what you can and cannot do while it is on. When the time is right, we guide you through removing support and rebuilding strength and movement.

Who it is for

People with fractures or injuries that need protection and support during healing, and anyone transitioning out of a cast or boot who wants guided rehabilitation.
