Our general physiotherapy service is the heart of what we do at Concord. Since 1989 we have helped people of all ages recover from injury, ease persistent pain and get back to the activities they enjoy. Whether your problem is recent or long-standing, we start by listening to your story and carrying out a careful assessment to understand what is really going on. From there we build a clear, practical plan around your goals.
Treatment may include hands-on techniques such as joint mobilisation and soft tissue release, along with tailored exercises to rebuild strength, flexibility and control. We also give plenty of advice on posture, movement and how to prevent the problem returning. Because we believe lasting recovery comes from you understanding your body, education is a big part of every session.
One of the advantages of our clinic is the team around you. Our physiotherapists work closely with exercise physiologists and, when it is needed, we can coordinate prompt access to the orthopaedic surgeons and sports physicians who consult from the same building. That means fewer delays, clearer answers and a smoother path through your recovery. If you are not sure whether physiotherapy is right for you, you are welcome to call and speak with one of our physiotherapists first.
Your first visit begins with a conversation about your symptoms, history and goals, followed by a thorough physical assessment. We then explain what we have found in plain language and agree on a management plan together. You will usually leave with some initial treatment and a few things to work on at home.
Suitable for anyone dealing with muscle, joint, nerve or movement problems, from recent injuries to ongoing aches. It is ideal if you want a clear diagnosis and a practical plan rather than guesswork.
