Our core physiotherapy service is the foundation of everything we do at Concord. Since 1989 we have helped people of all ages recover from injury, ease pain and get back to the activities they love. Whether your problem is recent or something you have lived with for years, we start with a careful assessment to understand what is really going on and what is likely to help.

Treatment is tailored to you. It may include gentle joint mobilisation, soft tissue release, and a home exercise program to build strength, flexibility and control. We explain your condition in plain language so you understand why you feel the way you do and what you can do about it. Our approach blends hands on care with active exercise, because the evidence shows that combination gives the most lasting results.

Because we sit within the wider Orthosports group, we can coordinate care with sports physicians and orthopaedic surgeons when needed, and arrange imaging such as x-ray or MRI without long delays. Most problems we see never need surgery, and our goal is always to help you manage and improve with the least fuss possible. If you are unsure whether physio is right for you, call and speak with one of our physiotherapists first.

What to expect

Your first visit begins with a thorough assessment to find the likely cause of your problem. We then explain what we have found and set out a clear management plan. You will usually leave with a home exercise program and practical advice. Follow up sessions track your progress and adjust the plan as you improve.

Who it is for

Anyone with a musculoskeletal, joint or soft tissue problem, from everyday aches to complex injuries. It suits all ages, whether you are recovering from an accident, managing long standing pain or returning to sport.

Common questions

Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?

No. You can book directly with us. A referral is only needed for certain funded schemes such as WorkCover or care plans through your GP.

Do you offer x-ray or specialist access?

Yes. We have x-ray on site, bulk billed when required, and can help coordinate prompt access to sports physicians and orthopaedic surgeons within our group.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Bring any relevant scans, reports or referrals, comfortable clothing you can move in, and a list of your current medications if relevant.
